Product Overview
The Stemolecule™ Epigenetic Modifier Set contains four cell permeable small molecules known to modulate DNA or histone modifications. Stemolecule™ BIX01294 is a selective inhibitor of G9a histone methyl transferase (G9a HMTase). Stemolecule™ RG108 is a DNA methyltransferase inhibitor. Stemolecule™ Sodium Butyrate is an inhibitor of histone deacetylases. Stemolecule™ Valproic Acid (VPA) is an inhibitor of histone deacetylases.
Stemolecules™ BIX1294, Valproic Acid, Sodium Butyrate, and RG108 modulate epigenetic effects of DNA and histones.

The purity of Stemgent’s Stemolecules™ was determined by HPLC analysis. The accurate mass and structure of Stemgent’s Stemolecules™ were determined by mass spectrometry and NMR, respectively. Cellular toxicity of Stemgent’s Stemolecules™ was tested on mouse embryonic stem cells.
